Lock down hobby progress.

The Covid 19 Lock Down, or as we call it in the UK - "This shit that's going on" - has provided at least some time for some people to spend at home being constructive and creative. For the Marauders that has meant some extra hobby time. Here is a sample of what we've been up to...

Tony has based up this lot of 10mm Napoleonics, I have yet to tackle the box I have, nor I suspect has Chris.

10mm Westphalians before basing - Pendraken minis painted by Barry Hill.

Old Glory 10mm Dutch Old Guard Grenadiers.

Old Guard 10mm Artillery to be based.

Magister Militum 10mm Austrian Dragoons, Tony has based these now - update required.

Tony Laughton painted up these Perry Burgundian cross bowmen. I could pile into this period too - Must resist!

More from Tony Laughton - possibly Victrix Carthaginians? Presumably for Hail Caesar? More on Ancients in a later post...

Creature Caster Plague Demon painted by me for 40k Death Guard, he'll proxy as Mortarion.

Honorary Marauder Al is working on these 40k Knight Armigers or some such! Be good to see these when finished.
Adeptus Titanicus

This is our game of choice while the Nappies get some extra kit painted & based.

Cerastus Knight Lancers by me - tricky new techniques here, textured basing & attempted "glowy" bits - meh!

Close up of above. Hmm...

Heavier Knights - Acastus class. Sponged weathering and heat damaged guns - new techniques again.

Close up again.

Tony built some scenery which I am really impressed with, painting in progress.

Heavily modified Reaver Titan - Tony always has to meddle, he's a Black belt Meddler!

Chris is making progress too - these are fiddly models to paint. Superbly detailed kits.

Reaver Titans - great colour scheme & posing. Keep it up mate :)

My Legio Mortis built & painted - very nearly finished. Rough & ready but I'm pleased. Decals to go.

Close up of a base - I scratch built these which was loads of fun.
That's your lot for now, more on the Napoleonics and some Ancients to follow.
Hope there's something for you to enjoy?

Stay safe & well, Protect the NHS by staying in & painting models,

Jeremy.

  1. That's a fine array of projects across the group. That's one of the things I'm looking forward to when our gaming starts again; hopefully being able to field a couple of newly-completed armies.
